A lightning flash can heat the air around it to temperatures five times hotter than the sun’s surface. Cloud-to-ground lightning bolts strike Earth’s surface around 100 times every single second. Each bolt is between 300 million volts and 1 billion volts of electricity.
This was 52 minutes of video taken from a lightning storm in Macomb County, MI. After editing out the gaps between strikes, around 5 minutes of electrical activity. The introduction is ultra-sound footage of a human womb. The soundtrack is provided by the artist “blqtung” out of New Orleans, LA. All Rights Reserved © Joshua Alphonse Gaudette 2022
